A filk is, from what I understand of them, a re-written popular or standard song in which only the lyrics are altered.  There are MANY versions of The Twelve Days of Christmas on the radio, on-line, etc. The one above is all mine. I like it. BTW, the "..." signify where the singer must repeat all of the previous lines which begin with a number.  Just wanted to spare my keyboard and appendages.
